Flox comes all the way from Azerbaijan, a former Soviet republic where many animals are mistreated or abandoned to survive on harsh streets. We rescue them and fly them to the United States so they can finally experience safety, stability, and the loving home they deserve. Flox was purchased from a breeder, but sadly his family failed him. A promise of love and responsibility was broken when he was dumped on the streets and left to fend for himself. When he arrived at the shelter, he had wounds on his elbow — clear evidence that he had endured a difficult time as a stray. Flox received the necessary medical care and has recovered well. He is now a healthy boy with the opportunity to travel to the U.S. and finally meet a family who will keep their promise to love, care for, and stand by him for the rest of his life. He has already overcome so much, now he deserves stability and devotion. Flox is a calm and quiet boy who does not show strong interest in playtime. He prefers eating and resting, though he absolutely loves snuggling and being close to his people. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and dogs and would make a gentle and easygoing companion.
