Pelusa’s story is one of resilience and love. She was found tied up outside a shelter in Mexico while she was actively giving birth to her puppies. Despite such a difficult start, Pelusa showed nothing but strength and devotion as she cared for her babies. Now that most of her puppies have found loving homes, it’s finally mom’s turn to find a family of her own. Pelusa is an incredibly sweet and affectionate 4 year old dog who truly craves love and attention. She enjoys being around people and forms strong bonds with those who care for her. She gets along well with other dogs and does great with kids. We are not yet sure how she does with cats. She already knows some basic commands like sit and give paw, and she loves interacting with her humans. Pelusa has a gentle and loving personality and would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loyal and affectionate dog. Pelusa is currently being fostered in Mexico and will travel to the U.S. once she finds her forever home. Her breed is based on appearance. After everything she has been through, Pelusa deserves a safe, loving place to call home and a family who will give her the love she has always given to others.
