He would also do well in a family without other cats as long as he gets lots of snuggles! Winston is FIV positive, but loves other cats often playing daddy cat to the younger ones. This medical condition is highly manageable and simply means that he's more susceptible to infection as he ages so dental care will be important. FIV is not easily spread to other cats and is only spread through deep bites and scratches from fighting, but Winston is a lover not a fighter. He is being fostered in a multi-cat household with FIV negative kitties and is getting along fabulously. We're happy to talk more with you about FIV.
