Everyone, welcome Chet! Chet and his brother Tex (also available) are brand new faces here at FDHS. This younger Shepherd mix is all big smiles and happy butt wiggles. Hardly more than a puppy, Chet is a goofy little ray of sunshine who's always ready to make a new friend. Chet is a smart boy and very eager to learn. He is extremely treat and praise motivated, which should make any continued training a breeze. Like most young dogs, he will probably need a little help polishing up his manners, but he seems more than willing to put in the effort. So far, Chet has been friendly with people of all shapes and sizes and seems very interested in meeting the other dogs around the shelter. We are still getting to know this sweet pup, but one thing is already clear...Chet has a lot of love and fun to bring to the right family. Chet is accepting adoption applications and is ready to find a forever home of his own.
