While he can be a bit nervous in new situations or with new faces, he warms up beautifully once he feels secure. He has excellent leash manners and truly enjoys his outdoor adventures. Once he is comfortable in his environment, he is a dedicated "velcro dog" who loves belly scratches and staying close to his people. Due to his sensitive nature, Copper would do best in a home with children 7 years or older. He is a bit nervous around new furiends and requires slow, proper introductions to new canine furiends.
