Finn is a 9-month-old, 35-pound white Lab mix with the sweetest heart. This handsome boy is still a bit skittish and unsure of the world, but in just the week he's been in foster care he has already made great progress and continues to gain confidence every day. Finn is both house-trained and crate-trained, and he actually seems to enjoy the comfort of his crate at times. He's also working on his leash skills. Overall he does well walking and tries hard to follow his person, though he can have the occasional burst of panic when he's out and about. The good news is he settles down quickly with reassurance, and for now it's best that his person keeps a firm grip on the leash while he continues building confidence. Once Finn learns to trust you, his incredibly sweet personality really shines. He is gentle and kind, and he's even great with cats—very tolerant even when they aren't always so nice to him! Finn would thrive with a patient adopter or family who understands that shy dogs just need a little time, love, and consistency to blossom.
