About Enzo
Enzo is a handsome and sensitive boy with a gentle heart and a quiet spirit. Born in February 2018, his journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s a story of patience, kindness, and learning to trust. Enzo first appeared at a kind woman’s home in 2023, and she began feeding him outside 2x a day. In early 2025, she brought him to the vet. They discovered he was microchipped and had originally been adopted in 2018. His registered owners were contacted multiple times but never responded, and it became clear that Enzo needed a new chapter. She kept him inside, hoping to give him a safe home, but Enzo was extremely shy and frightened. Even after many months, he was still too nervous to be touched. Eventually, Enzo moved to a foster home with someone who specializes in helping shy cats come out of their shells. With gentle patience and daily trust-building, everything started to change. Within just a month, Enzo allowed his foster to pet him—and it turns out he absolutely loves it! Now he happily rubs against her, hops up asking for pets, and even enjoys belly rubs. Enzo is still a shy cat at heart and will need an adopter who understands that building trust takes time. In a new home, he will likely need a slow adjustment period and patience while he learns that he’s safe. He may never be a cat who enjoys being picked up, but once he trusts you, he’ll reward you with affection in his own sweet ways. Enzo is FIV+, but he is a very gentle cat and not aggressive with other cats. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, and because Enzo is peaceful and friendly with other cats, he can safely live with feline companions. In fact, he loves other cats and would likely thrive with a confident cat friend who can help him feel comfortable and show him the ropes. Enzo would do best in a calm, quiet home without dogs or young children. With patience and understanding, this sweet boy will continue to blossom into a devoted companion who loves pets and being close to his people.
