Sergio
AvailableSergio is a senior male Domestic Short Hair with a short orange and white tabby coat, currently in Oceanside, CA. He has been neutered and his vaccinations are up to date. Sergio is house trained, lives with some unique medical needs including FIV and a permanent head tilt, and does best in a calm, patient environment surrounded by other cats. Born February 28, he’s a Pisces—if you believe in sun signs, he has a gentle and adaptable spirit.
About Sergio
Sergio stands out, to say the least. He’s lived through a tough stretch—thanks to an untreated inner ear infection, he’s got a permanent head tilt. That means he moves through life a bit wobbly and can’t hear well on one side. He’s on track for full dental extraction because of stomatitis, and he’s FIV+, so his health comes with some asterisks. Sergio is around eight or nine, acts solidly feral, and prefers that people not try to touch or pick him up. Despite everything, he lights up when other cats are around and never misses a chance for canned food. He avoids aggression but keeps to himself, finding comfort in a soft bed out of the way. Outside life isn’t safe for him—not a mouser, not a barn cat—so he needs an indoor home where he can simply exist and belong, but not be handled. If you’re looking for a hands-off, quirky housemate who’ll peacefully coexist with your pets, Sergio might be your guy. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
