Sergio is a senior male Domestic Short Hair cat with a striking orange and white tabby coat. He is a medium-sized, short-haired kitty who is house trained, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. Currently residing at Sunrise Rescue, Sergio is a special needs cat due to his head tilt, partial deafness, FIV+, and impending full dental extraction, but he thrives on love, soft beds, and cat companionship indoors.

About Sergio

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Say hello to Sergio, a uniquely charming orange and white tabby with the sweetest wobbly walk thanks to his permanent head tilt from an old inner ear infection. While he may be deaf in one ear and is scheduled for a full dental extraction due to stomatitis, Sergio is full of heart and spirit. Living with FIV and at least 8 to 9 years old, he embraces the cozy comforts of indoor life and truly adores the companionship of other cats—as well as a steady supply of canned food! Sergio is on the shy side and prefers to observe rather than be touched or handled. Feral in nature, he's not a candidate for a barn cat lifestyle or for rodent control, but he will reward a safe, patient home with his unique quirks and presence. Though he can’t be pet or picked up, he’s never aggressive—just a little shy and wary. His ideal home is indoors, where soft beds and understanding humans can provide gentle routine and let him blossom on his own terms. Fun fact: with a birthday of February 28, Sergio is a Pisces, a sign known for sensitivity and empathy—just like him! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
