Maggie COH is a 1 year old spayed female Hound Mix with a quiet strength and a gentle, soulful presence. At first, she may observe from a distance, giving a tiny wag or soft tilt of her head as she decides if you’re friend or stranger. But don’t be fooled — once she trusts you, Maggie showers affection like sunshine spilling across a room. This thoughtful lady loves soft cushions, slow strolls in the yard, and the comfort of a hand resting on her back. She’s not flashy, but she has a way of making every moment feel meaningful — the gentle nudge when she wants pets, the small happy sigh as she settles in beside you, the way her eyes light up when she feels safe. A stray from Hawthorne, Maggie is ready to leave uncertainty behind. She’s calm, steady, and quietly loyal, the kind of dog who becomes the heartbeat of her home. With patience and love, she will become the kind of companion you didn’t know you needed — thoughtful, warm, and completely devoted. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications.
