About Jacob
Meet Jacob – A Soft-Hearted Survivor Ready for His Forever Home! Jacob was born in August 2025. Jacob is a beautiful Russian Blue kitten with a plush silver-blue coat and gentle, soulful eyes. His journey began in the Rio Grande Valley, where he and his brother Edward were rescued just in time—found by a compassionate judge right before an ice storm swept through the area. Thanks to that timely rescue, Jacob now has the chance to grow up safe, warm, and loved. When Jacob first came into care, he was understandably shy. New places and new faces can feel overwhelming for a little kitten who’s been through so much. But with the steady encouragement of his confident brother Edward, Jacob has truly blossomed. Having his brother by his side has helped him come out of his shell, and now his playful, curious personality shines brighter every day. Jacob loves to play! Toss him a toy mouse, dangle a wand toy, or give him a crinkly ball, and you’ll see his eyes light up. He especially enjoys wrestling and chasing games with Edward—they are the sweetest duo to watch. Because he gains confidence from companionship, Jacob would thrive in a home with another friendly cat or, even better, adopted alongside his brother. He gets along wonderfully with other cats, is comfortable around gentle dogs, and does well with respectful children who understand that sometimes a shy kitten just needs a little patience. Jacob is vetted and has excellent litter box manners. Once he feels safe, Jacob rewards his people with quiet affection, soft purrs, and loyal companionship. If you’re looking for a tender-hearted kitten who will grow into a devoted and playful companion, Jacob is ready to fill your home with love.
