Adoption fee: $650 On January 1st, Mama Tomato — an adorable 11 lb Chi mix — delivered the freshest produce of the New Year: five perfectly ripe Tomato puppies. Now 8 weeks old, these garden gems are ready to be picked for their forever homes. Their daily routine is simple and wholesome, just like a backyard harvest should be. Around 7:30am, the Tomato crew rustles their foster awake and heads outside for about an hour of potty time and play in the yard. The rest of the day is spent in their pen rotating between naps, wrestling matches, and refueling at the kibble bar, which is open all day. At 8pm, they enjoy a hearty dinner of kibble mixed with wet food — a farm-to-bowl feast. In the evening, they get another hour outside to stretch their vines and burn off that last burst of sunshine energy before bed. Each Tomato has their own distinct flavor: Beefsteak The smallest of the bunch, but full of robust personality. Beefsteak was the first to really get airborne, perhaps to compensate for his petite size. He has a delightfully bouncy run and occasionally attempts to scale the yard’s tree like a tiny goat. He’s also the only sibling who has discovered the art of tail chasing, which he approaches with great enthusiasm and very little success. Once he's done with adventuring, he's ready for some lap time snuggles! Cherry Playful and bold, Cherry keeps the vine lively. He regularly challenges Mama Tomato to wrestling matches, despite losing in record time. He has a talent for dramatic props — proudly parading around with a leaf as big as his face or a stick longer than his body while playing keep-away with his siblings. He brings the zesty fun to every play session. Early Girl An athletic overachiever, Early Girl treats the yard like her own agility course. From her very first outdoor adventure, she began climbing onto platforms and launching herself off with impressive commitment. She’s also climbed a flower pot and leapt to a raised garden bed several inches away. This little tomato believes gravity is more of a suggestion than a rule. She's a parkour pro, but as sweet as a ripe tomato! Roma The strategic thinker of the patch. Roma is smartie pants who studied every design flaw in the pen barrier and systematically defeated them. He has pushed it aside, climbed corners, and engineered clever workarounds to expand his territory. A hearty eater, he quickly caught up in size and outgrew his sister after starting smaller. Roma combines brains, determination, and a healthy appetite for life. With his love of food, he'll be easy to train! Sungold Slightly more cautious when faced with new experiences, Sungold approaches the world with thoughtful sweetness. His first adventures outside the pen and into the yard were marked by an adorable quick-but-careful belly crawl. Yet once he feels secure, he melts completely — especially when picked up, immediately flopping onto his back for belly rubs. He matches Roma in enthusiasm at mealtime and has been growing beautifully. Gentle, affectionate, and quietly confident, Sungold is pure sunshine once he warms up. These Tomato puppies have been lovingly tended, well-fed, and thoughtfully socialized. They are playful, curious, and thriving — ready to be transplanted into homes where they can continue to grow. If you’re looking to add something fresh, joyful, and homegrown to your life, one of these Tomatoes may be the perfect pick.
