Butters is a 3-year-old male Golden Retriever with a playful spirit and a heart full of potential. This handsome boy is a new addition to our shelter and is just beginning his journey with us. According to his previous owner, Butters can be toy possessive and does experience separation anxiety, so he’ll need a patient, understanding home committed to helping him feel safe and secure. Because of this, he’s looking for a household with teens and up who can respect his boundaries and work with him on positive reinforcement training. Once Butters gets to know you, he’s described as friendly, extremely playful, and full of classic Golden energy. He loves to have fun and will likely thrive with an active family who can provide structure, consistency, and plenty of appropriate outlets for his enthusiasm.
