BERNARDO Kennel Card: 10182025JL-D1 Bernardo is a 71-pound, 2-year-old male Husky mix who has been at the Delano Animal Shelter since October 18,2025. He was found at North Kern State Prison by Delano Animal Control. Despite his rough start, Bernardo has remained gentle and mellow. This handsome boy has been tested with multiple dogs—males and females, medium and large sizes—and did exceptionally well. He was a fantastic tester and truly thrived in a group setting. Bernardo calm and friendly nature would make him a wonderful companion for a family or individual looking for a loyal best friend. Bernardo is neutered, microchipped, and has received his Rabies vaccine and DAPP vaccine. He’s ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter filled with love, comfort, and companionship.
