Estimated to be around 8–10 years old, Peach was rescued from a sheepherder's ranch after her owner's passing, making her one of the last of 19 dogs to find safety. Despite likely spending her entire life outdoors, Peach has adapted beautifully to indoor living and now happily chooses a comfy sofa and TV over the cold ground. Since settling into her temporary foster home, she's enjoyed everything from soft beds and cozy blankets to brushing sessions and heartfelt cuddles, soaking it all in as if this long-awaited chapter is her greatest adventure. Peach is fully vetted, house trained, and has been reliable indoors right from the start—no kennel required. She adores being near people, loves gentle brushing, will melt into you for snuggles, and happily gives sweet little kisses. With her unique look, it’s easy to see why she’s affectionately compared to an Oompa Loompa! She does wonderfully with other dogs, and while she’s still learning about leashes, short walks or simply lounging in a cozy spot suit her perfectly. She may politely bark at cats, but it seems more like a hobby than a bother. Peach truly longs for a soft place to land—a couch, a loving human, maybe a TV, and most importantly, a hand to hold.
