About Venus
Venus is a gentle, 13-year-old companion with a real knack for making herself at home. From the moment she walks in, she has no trouble befriending everyone in the room. Venus tends to take the lead on routines—she’ll walk you right over to her nightly medication, always eager to cooperate. Her favorite pastimes are delightfully simple: opening up cabinet doors, staking out sunny spots around the house, curling up in a lap, and batting her toy balls out of reach beneath the furniture. Her personality has a playful streak, best seen when half of her crooked tail puffs up as she gets the “kitty crazies” and dashes about the house. Venus would thrive in a home that appreciates her playful side, and she is comfortable living with other pets—or gentle children willing to offer her the easy affection she enjoys. Any adopter should be ready to take on her medical routine; the Cat Care Society team will walk you through Venus's needs to keep her in tip-top shape. Venus is currently doing well in a foster home in Lakewood, CO and is ready to meet her future family. Click apply to start the adoption process.
