Ramona doesn't particularly like or trust people, but she does love to cuddle and spend time with other cats. If you have a lonely kitty that needs a friend, but you don't feel like you have the time or energy to dedicate to another cat, Ramona is a good option for your family. As long as she has a good scratching post, places to hide, independent use toys, and a cat to be friends with, she'll be happy! You don't even have to play with her, as she would honestly prefer you didn't look at her at all. Ramona comes from a feral colony, and spent a couple weeks of her early life trapped in a car engine. Once she was freed (read: once the bottom panels of the car were removed), she was very thin and dehydrated. Since then, she deals with a lot of food insecurity, and that's why she is roughly the shape of a basketball. In a home without a lot of other cats, it will be easier to regulate her food intake, and she should slim down.
