Taz is a 2-year, 3-month-old male Pit Bull Terrier with a striking red and white short coat. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and house trained. Taz is currently living in Allegan, MI. He does not get along with cats but is friendly with other dogs and enjoys regular routines and outdoor time.

About Taz

Taz spent a few days in a foster home and did great settling in. He was friendly with everyone he met and got along well with the other dogs in the house. Taz slept through the night quietly in his crate and had no accidents indoors. He wasn’t the type to jump up on the couch, preferring to poke around the woods during the day and snuggle up, out cold, at night—it’s adorable watching him sleep when he finally conks out. Shelter life isn’t easy on Taz. Long stretches alone in a kennel have been tough, but his joyful personality switches on the moment he gets outside or is with staff and volunteers. He clearly thrives when he’s out exploring or hanging with his dog buddies on the trail. Taz comes with good manners. He knows how to sit and lay down (when he’s not excited), takes treats gently, and lights up with attention—he’s a champion at soaking up affection. He truly needs a home where someone’s around most of the day; steady companionship and a predictable routine make him happy. Taz would especially love a house with another playful dog his size. If you want a sweet, social, and affectionate companion who’s just as ready for adventures as he is for downtime cuddles, Taz is eager to join your family. Ready to meet your new best friend?
