About Obi
2 years old 56 lbs Neutered Fully vetted Light fawn (tan) Obi is a people-loving, house-perfect boy who is ready for a fresh start. He was adopted from us as a tiny puppy and he spent the last two years growing up in a home environment. He's used to sleeping in bed, lounging on the couch, and being close to his humans. The basics? He's got them down: Completely housebroken Crate trained Non-destructive Great with all people Very affectionate and snuggly Obi does have a history of seasonal and stress-related skin allergies. Big changes can cause flare-ups, and he's currently being treated with medicated baths, supplements, and received a Cytopoint injection to keep him comfortable. With stability and routine, his skin improves. Because of a high-stress incident involving fireworks and household chaos, Obi is no longer able to live safely with cats. Recent dog introductions have also shown that he would do best as the only pet in the home, or with an experienced owner who understands structured crate-and-rotate management. He always did great with the other dog in his home - but meeting new dogs doesn't always go well. What he truly needs is: A calm, consistent home Clear boundaries and positive reinforcement training Someone committed to giving him stability and time to decompress Obi is young, smart, and eager to bond. He thrives with structure and absolutely loves his people. In the right environment, he will be a loyal, affectionate companion. If you're looking for a devoted, house-trained cuddle buddy and are able to provide a pet-free home, Obi may be your guy.
