This poor handsome sweet fella was left by himself at the shelter and was so scared that he ended up on the euthanasia list because he was so scared in the loud overcrowded shelter. Who wouldn’t be scared! He is up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, crate trained, and potty trained. He is a very shy guy and needs time to warm up to his humans. He is dog friendly to both male and female dogs and big, medium, and even small dogs like my cheweenie. Cats are unknown as he has not been cat tested. He rides well in the car without anxiety. He prefers a calm not a chaotic environment; he is treat motivated and knows how to take them gently. He needs an adopter who loves “rotties” and will give this big guy time to warm up and become best friends. He would do best with a fenced yard as he is not off leash trained and a doggie buddy as it will help him with his shyness and his confidence. His ideal family will be calm, not loud and not chaotic, a single person or couple or family with children that are older like 15yoa or older. He likes easy going walks and being inside with his people. We suspect he was left outside to fend for himself so he does not like to be outside for long periods of time. He is very quiet and never barks at my home! He needs his very own soft place to land with his forever family! On behalf of Karen Perl, the adoption fee is $350. Transport can be arranged after the adoption is finalized. If you prefer to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee will remain the same.
