About Nubs
Nubs stands out at just 16 pounds, carrying all the spirited energy and joy you’d want in a little companion. He’s a young adult Chihuahua mix with a lively, puppy-like personality—always ready for fetch, yard zoomies, or a long walk around the block. When he’s tuckered out from play, Nubs turns into a serious cuddler, curling up close for quiet time. His stubby nubby tail is constantly wiggling, especially when there’s a Ritz cracker in sight. He’ll eagerly learn any trick for that favorite treat, putting on a show with spins and dance moves for his people. Nubs is the definition of a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, making him a great choice for homes with other pets or as a solo companion who soaks up the spotlight. Rescued from a tough rainstorm in Puerto Rico, Nubs is now looking for his first real home on the East Coast. He’s neutered, microchipped, and vaccinations are current. If you want a playful, snuggly sidekick with a wiggly nub and boundless affection, Nubs is waiting to meet you. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
