About Cooper Has One Eye
Cooper the six-year-old Shih Tzu is nothing short of a survivor. This brave boy was rescued after being attacked by a much larger dog. His injuries were severe and resulted in him being rushed to a critical care hospital in order to save his life. The attack caused Coop to lose his left eye, four teeth and suffer deep puncture wounds near his throat. He underwent emergency surgery at a cost of over $1700. There was a moment when his future was uncertain but thankfully he pulled through. Now healed and safe, Cooper is proof that bravery and resilience can sometimes come in small, fluffy packages. Despite everything he’s been through, Cooper hasn’t lost his spirit. He’s a tough guy with a tender heart — the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his people and finds comfort in simply being close. He may have only one eye now but he recognizes love perfectly. Cooper would thrive in a home that understands he’s been through trauma and will give him the patience, kindness and security he deserves. Cooper is fully vetted -- neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $300. We accept payment in the form of cash, CashApp and Zelle. You can apply to adopt at https://sohfga.com/dog-adoption-application/.
