About Luke Cool Hand
Luke Cool Hand is simply the kind of dog everyone gravitates toward. He started life under a house as a tiny pup, rescued by a ranch worker and his dog, and then soaked up ranch life side by side with his rescuer. When that chapter closed, the rancher had no choice but to reach out for help, not wanting Luke to end up anywhere but in caring hands. Despite that early twist, Luke's been around people and animals since day one and has embraced every bit of it. He’s smart—thanks to his Border Collie half—with a recall that will impress, and he’s not above showing off a trick or two if you have treats. Double dewclaws and a thick, striking coat only add to his charm. He’s that classic, easygoing companion: happy, flexible, good with everyone. Luke gets along with other dogs, cats, and children with no trouble. His only recent surprise has been learning about the vet, but even that hasn’t fazed him much. He’s ready to slot into a new home without drama and bring a lot of heart. As a fun note, Luke was born on March 17, making him a charming Pisces—expect extra empathy!
