While Mama Willow didn't spend too much time at our facility, her fosters have nothing but glowing words for how far she has come and her adjustment to a home environment: Mama Willow is ready and waiting for a new home. At 14" tall at the shoulder, 16" long and 19 pounds she is a adorable, lovable, and amusing little dog. Smart, affectionate and lively, she loves to be involved in any activity. Slim, agile and fast, she's a good athlete and likes to be outdoors, but she's also happy to relax in a cozy bed. While she doesn't try to escape the household, she does have a tendency to explore, so make sure she's supervised when outside of the house. She's pretty low maintenance around the house because she's very good at entertaining herself with toys and chews, and she does not complain about being left alone. Her short, smooth coat is easy to groom, she is fine with being handled, and she sits still to have her nails trimmed! She adores my terrier and loves to wrestle and swap toys. She doesn't know all the house rules, but she responds instantly to 'No' and is eager to please and food-motivated. She doesn't know her name, but always comes to a whistle. Willow is fun-loving and eager for playful companions and she would love to be part of a new family.
