Watch her video and fall in love with this sweet girl: https://youtu.be/F87tRdt-x5o?si=fCSDSbHBXsx7v25y Sandy Pink is believed to be a Lab mix approximately 1.5 years old and currently weighs 64 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. One of the absolute best things about Sandy? She is wonderful with kids. She is currently being fostered in a home with three children, ages 9, 13, and 15, and she fits right in like she’s always been part of the family. Whether it’s hanging out while homework is getting done, lounging nearby during family movie night, or happily following the kids around to see what they’re up to, Sandy is just content to be included. She has a naturally gentle and steady presence that makes her such an easy companion in a busy household. She isn’t fazed by the everyday movement and noise that comes with family life and carries herself with that calm, respectful energy that makes everyone feel comfortable. Sandy truly seems to understand how to adjust her energy around kids. She’s affectionate without being overwhelming, playful without being too much, and always happy to soak up attention when it’s offered. With her sweet nature, dependable personality, and love for being part of the action, we truly believe she would make an incredible family dog. She’s the kind of girl who will grow up alongside your kids, be there for the everyday moments, and quietly become one of the best parts of childhood memories. Doesn’t she already sound amazing?! Well wait, there’s more! Sandy loves treats, is super smart, and already knows a few basic commands such as sit. She is crate and potty trained as well. She’ll be a great companion for someone who enjoys going on adventures and for someone looking for a snuggly pal at the end of the day. She is the perfect mixture of both. Sandy loves to be outside and would absolutely love for her forever home to have a nice big backyard where she can roam, chase squirrels, and relax in the sun. Sandy isn’t chaotic puppy energy. She’s that perfectly balanced, go-with-the-flow Lab who knows when it’s time for a stroll, when it’s time for a toy, and when it’s time to melt into the couch beside you. She has wonderful house manners, is respectful in the home, and carries herself like the polite little lady she is. No nonsense. No drama. Just solid, dependable good girl energy. Sandy is very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced her to. Her favorite playmates are the dogs that have a happy-go-lucky personality, ones that like to play but also know when it’s time for a break. She also appreciates pups that aren’t too pushy with their play style. Sandy enjoys romping around the yard with other dogs, playing a game of “tag, you’re it,” and occasionally engaging in a little rumble-and-tumble wrestling session with the right match. If you don’t have other dogs, Sandy is totally fine with that. She is always happiest when she’s surrounded by her favorite people, and she truly loves everyone! While she’ll happily play with another dog that matches her style, her eyes light up when she’s being loved on, and she doesn’t need the company of another dog to feel secure or fulfilled. Besides, we don’t think she’ll mind being the center of your attention anyway. She’ll soak it all up. Sandy also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. She did not chase Biggie, nor was she bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around her as well. We do not know if she has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Sandy isn’t just looking for a home, she’s looking for her family. The ones who're ready for a steady, loyal companion who will greet you with a wagging tail, settle in beside you after a long day, and quietly become the best decision you’ve ever made. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be flashy to stand out. Her goodness speaks for itself. If you’ve been waiting for that easygoing, well-mannered, dog-friendly Lab who feels like she’s always been yours… this is your sign. Sandy is ready to start her forever chapter, all she needs now is you. We are willing to test Sandy Pink with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen!
