Poppy is a 6-month-old bundle of joy who was unexpectedly dropped into the backyard of a 911 dispatcher--literally! From that moment on, this bright, wiggly girl has been winning hearts with her big personality and enthusiastic love for life. Poppy is all puppy in the best ways: energetic, curious, playful, and always ready for fun. She happily entertains herself with toys but is just as thrilled to play with other dogs or join in family activities. Incredibly smart, she learned the doggie door in a single day, mastered "shake" just as fast, and will sit and waits somewhat patiently for her meals. She listens well and responds instantly to a firm "aghhh" or a quick spritz from the water bottle. Poppy crates beautifully, sleeps through the night, and hasn't had a single potty accident. She walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and is very food-motivated--chicken and old-fashioned Dunkin' donuts are her absolute favorites! She loves a frozen peanut butter Kong when crated during the day. Because she's still full of puppy energy, Poppy will thrive with an active single person or a dog-savvy family with children over 6. Plenty of chew toys and continued training will help her shine. Poppy is ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless love to her forever home!
