He’s endlessly curious, spending hours observing birds or basking in the warmth of his favorite cozy spots. Vertical space is Shrimp’s happy place: he loves high perches, cat trees, and being carried so he can see the world from above, but never knocks things over or causes a mess—he’s simply too well-mannered. For playtime, feather toys and tunnels are his favorites, especially when there’s a bit of hide and seek involved. Shrimp is all about the scritches—cheeks and neck especially—and he’ll drop everything for a good pet or a little booty pat. He’s not a lap cat but does like to stay close, following people around, offering headbutts, and gracing the morning with affectionate cuddles before enjoying his own space and routine. Shrimp is food motivated, making treats a powerful ally during grooming or car rides. He handles being alone with quiet confidence, knowing his meals will come at the usual times and sticking to excellent litter box habits. He thrives as the only pet in a home where his people will play with him and provide plenty of climbing options and cozy sunbathing spots.
