Meet Maxx Rebo! Gulfport, MS Maxx Rebo is a 5-year-old neutered Maltipoo weighing 9.5 pounds of personality and charm! This little guy hasn't been in his foster home long, but he has already made himself right at home. Maxx is incredibly curious (okay... a little nosy ) and wants to know everything that's going on around him. He gets very excited when you leave or come home - expect happy barking and lots of jumping to greet you. He also loves to snuggle and bonded quickly with both his foster family and the other dogs in the home. He's doing great with potty training! When he first arrived, he tried marking, but with gentle correction he has already improved. He may still need to wear a belly band (man diaper) for a little while as he adjusts, and his adopter will need to continue reinforcing that marking is not allowed. Maxx is affectionate but has a unique personality - think "cat-like." He enjoys attention but doesn't like excessive petting and will let you know when he's had enough. He has not bitten his foster, but he has given warning signals and did try to nip during nail trims. Because of this, he'll need a patient adopter who will go slow, respect his boundaries, and continue working on positive handling.
