Jack came to us from a hoarding situation and was scared, confused, and didn't want to be petted or picked up for a long time. His scars ran deep, and he lived with us as a sanctuary dog. Things changed in January, when he moved into the kennels with the other dogs and began to go on regular walks with the volunteers and become part of a family of dogs, who all played together and got along. Jack is almost 3 years old and has suddenly decided he likes people and likes attention and petting.
