About Jimothy

Jimothy is a sweet and loving 3.5-year-old tabby with a big appetite and an even bigger heart. Shy at first, he truly blossoms once he feels at home. He relaxes best when he can perch high up on a cat tree where he can watch his kingdom and enjoys batting around toys, especially if they make a little noise. Mealtime is his favorite time—he has a habit of scarfing down his food all at once, so meal feeding is a must for this hungry boy. Jimothy comes from a rough start, having been abandoned and then put outside due to conflicts with another cat, but he's resilient. He’s currently thriving in foster care, but his current foster can’t give him the quiet environment he prefers. Jimothy does best in a calm home with no other cats, and he's fine with big dogs. He’s not sure about small dogs. He’s happiest with adults or older children who understand his cues—small kids can make him nervous. Jimothy is neutered, vaccinated, and negative for both FeLV and FIV, making him a healthy addition to the right family. He wants a home that gives him the space, patience, and gentle company he needs to relax and feel safe. Give him a chance and he’ll reward you with affection and some truly funny antics. Your new best friend is just one click away.
