Dante landed back in foster care after his family had to move, but heās taking things in stride. Heās a big, sweet cat with hefty paws and soft, short gray tabby and white fur. When he first arrives in a new place, Dante prefers to hide and take in his surroundings from a distanceāhe likes to size you up before making any commitments. After a few weeks, though, his curiosity gets the better of him and heāll start to show his friendly side. Once heās comfortable, heāll gladly soak up your attention, especially if youāre relaxing on the couch or in bed. He loves being petted and his purr is hard to miss, but heād rather not be picked up or handled too much unless itās his idea. Dante does great with other cats and has lived with gentle kids, though he isnāt a fan of dogs. He would do best in a dog-free home where people respect his need for a slow introduction and a bit of patience.
