Meet Cinnamon 💛 Cinnamon may have had a rough beginning, but you would never know it from his loving heart. For months, he wandered a trailer park on his own, searching for food and kindness after being left to fend for himself. Thankfully, a volunteer with Second Chance Kitty stepped in to help, offering him meals, fresh water, treats, and the gentle attention he had clearly been missing. Even during those hard days, Cinnamon was always a sweetheart. He welcomed pets, happily soaked up affection, and would sometimes curl up in a lap when given the chance. Known as the “Poppa” of the park, he seemed to look out for the other cats around him. When he was finally brought to safety, it was discovered he had been through far more than anyone realized — he was battling ear mites and fleas, had been shot multiple with a pellet gun, and was seen hopping around with an injured front paw. Despite it all, his spirit never broke. Now safe indoors, Cinnamon has truly blossomed. He is a gentle, affectionate, and incredibly devoted boy — a total lovebug. He adores cuddling and would be happiest with someone who has plenty of time and love to give. He just wants to be your constant companion, your shadow, and your best buddy. All Second Chance Kitty cats are free fed a quality dry food with low or no grain and are STRICTLY INDOOR ONLY. Studies have proven cats live longer, healthier lives and on average require less financial burdens at veterinary offices when they are kept indoor only. There are so many predators out there, both human and animal and it is sadly unsafe to let them roam unattended. All of our babes come altered, microchipped, vaccinated, rabies (if age appropriate), FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, flea treated, litter box trained and full of love. Our adoption fees are a minimum $150 donation. Anything beyond $150 helps rescue another babe. Adoption isn’t an impulsive decision, it must be thought out carefully. Owning a cat is a 15 to 20+ year commitment. Can we afford a cat? If we’re renting do they allow pets here? Is there a pet deposit? Can we afford the pet deposit? What if we get sick, what if the kitty becomes ill and has to see a veterinarian? Kitty requires routine check-ups, annual vaccines, quality food, litter and toys, can we afford this?
