Meet sweet, resilient Jacob and Eddy! These sweet brothers were rescued from the driveway of an elementary school in rural Stockton after a kind-hearted Good Samaritan posted on Facebook, worried about five tiny kittens darting through the pickup line and narrowly avoiding cars. One of our volunteers happened to be nearby, rushed over, and together they scooped the kittens up and brought them to safety. To say they were in rough shape is an understatement. They were severely malnourished and ravenous for food, covered in fleas, anemic, and battling ringworm — truly a little hot mess. But with dedicated medical care and the loving attention of a devoted foster mom, Jacob & Eddy have made an incredible transformation. Today, they are healthy, happy, and absolutely thriving. Jacob is the outgoing brother and is extremely affectionate and adores human attention. He’s social, loving, and happiest when he’s near his people. Eddy, the most timid of the litter, and is extremely bonded to Jacob and visa versa. They make a darling pair that compliment each other. Eddy needs to be able to feel safe and to build trust with a family who is home often and can shower him with the love he deserves. Studies have proven cats live longer, healthier lives and on average require less financial burdens at veterinary offices when they are kept indoor only. All of our babes come altered, microchipped, vaccinated, rabies (if age appropriate), FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, flea treated, litter box trained and full of love.
