She has a little anxiety right now because she’s coming from an outdoor kennel environment, but with patience and love she settles in beautifully. She loves other dogs, does great with kids, and is perfectly happy with lazy days at home. Oakley would do best in a home with an outdoor space where she can lounge and relax, since she’s used to spending time outside. She’s great on walks and enjoys getting out and exploring. And yes — she may try to claim your couch as her own sometimes (in her defense, it’s very comfy), but she does know commands and will listen when told to stay off. Oakley absolutely loves affection and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. She’s the kind of dog that reminds you every day that life is better with a shepherd by your side.
