Location: Bakersfield, CA Meet Hagrid, our gentle giant Dalmatian (85 lbs)! Approx 3 years old. Look at that face, how can you not love him? He’s a laid-back, relaxed guy who does things on his own time. He’ll let you know when he wants attention or isn’t by your side. Once on the move, he’s great on leash, does awesome at the dog park with other dogs, strangers, in stores, or even chilling at a restaurant. He is very social and enjoys all the attention that Dalmatians draw. He can be very vocal when he wants something, rather demanding actually. His new home will need to be diligent with not letting him "rule" the house. Hagrid is great with other dogs and could care less about cats. We are going to say older kids 13+, with his size he could knock over small kiddos. He is not a fan of being home alone for long periods of time , will vocally express his displeasure by howling and has been known to break apart a crate, the couch is more appealing than the crate. His ideal home would be with someone who works from home, works part time or even retired.
