Tobey is just over a year old and already a big, lovable guy with the gentlest heart-and an adorable heart-shaped nose that makes it impossible not to fall in love. He came to us from our friends at Haywood County Animal Services, and he's been charming everyone he meets ever since. This young large-breed pup is incredibly polite, keeps all four paws on the floor, and truly enjoys people. He's very dog friendly and greets other dogs with happy, wiggly excitement that never feels overwhelming. Tobey is smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn. A front-clip harness works well for his size, and he does nicely on leash with positive reinforcement. Tobey is still building confidence in new environments and is nervous around cars, so he'll do best with a patient, encouraging adopter who understands that snacks, praise, and kindness go a long way. Beneath his big frame is a sensitive, loving soul who just wants to feel safe and loved.
