About Savannah
Savannah is just about seven months old and came in with her siblings from a situation where she had little socialization with people. She’s the most timid of her litter, but once she feels safe, a bit of her sassy spirit shows through. Savannah tends to observe before she acts, preferring to take her time and decide when she’s ready to interact. If you're patient, she’ll warm up and start to reveal her curiosity. The real key to Savannah’s progress is another confident dog. She truly relies on canine companionship—a resident dog in the home isn’t just a perk for her, it’s a must. Having a gentle, confident dog helps Savannah feel secure and gives her the courage to engage more with her environment. Savannah is thought to be a Chihuahua/Beagle mix with a smooth, short white or cream coat. For her, a home should have a securely fenced yard, no young kids, and absolutely a dog friend. She’ll need a slow approach to new things, and her sensitive side means she thrives best somewhere calm and understanding. The rescue recommends a two-week adoption trial (foster-to-adopt) to make sure it’s the right fit. She’s ready to find a patient, loving home where she can truly settle in and become the dog she’s meant to be. Click apply to start the adoption process.

Smaller breeds such as Chihuahua/Beagle mixes don’t need a huge yard, but Savannah would thrive with access to a securely fenced outdoor area to help her build confidence.
