Meet Everest! Everest is a 7.5-week-old female Great Pyrenees mix (almost purebred — mostly Pyr with just a dash of Collie!) who arrived in the world in the sweetest way. Her mom was found as a stray and taken in by a kind Good Samaritan just in time — she delivered her puppies the very next day, and Everest has been safe and thriving ever since. Everest is full of personality and loves attention from her people. She’s the kind of pup who enjoys sitting nearby and calmly observing everything going on around her before jumping into the fun. She loves playing with her siblings, soaking up the sunshine, splashing in water, and relaxing with some “doggie TV” on YouTube. Like many Pyrenees pups, she isn’t afraid to use her voice now and then to share her thoughts, but she’s just as happy settling in and watching the world go by. For such a young pup, Everest is already doing fantastic with her manners. She’s rocking potty training for her age and even sits calmly for nail trims — pretty impressive for a fluffy baby! Everest has been raised around other dogs, cats, and kids and has done wonderfully with everyone. Like any Great Pyrenees, she will grow into a large dog and will thrive with a family ready for the grooming, training, and lifelong commitment that comes with a big guardian breed. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit.
