Meet Watermelon 🍉 Watermelon is a striking2 year old, 13-pound fawn/orange tabby with the softest salmon-toned coat and the cutest little socks and mittens. His coloring is so unique, he almost looks sun-kissed — and his sweet, soulful eyes will absolutely stop you in your tracks. This polite young gentleman never demands attention, but he’s always quietly nearby. While he’s not quite a lap cat, he loves to snooze next to you and gently lean in for company. He’s a big fan of under-chin scritches, cheek rubs, and head pets. Watermelon is curious, observant, and full of personality that’s still blossoming. During the day, he’s mostly a laid-back couch potato who enjoys long naps and peaceful surroundings. But come evening? He sometimes gets the zoomies, galloping around the house and enthusiastically chasing string toys, springs, and fluffy motion-activated balls. He loves: - Feather and string toys - Springs and small balls he can fling around - Temptations & Friskies treats (he’s still refining his palate!) - Making adorable squinty eye contact with his humans Watermelon is litter box trained and has been very well-mannered in his foster home. He’s still learning that he’s welcome everywhere, but day by day he’s becoming more confident and comfortable. There’s clearly so much personality waiting to shine as he continues to settle in.
