About Felicity

Felicity is an easy dog to fall for—a tan and white pittie mix with a big smile and even bigger heart. At a year old and around 45 pounds, she’s happiest curled up in a lap or shadowing her people from room to room. Whether snuggling in bed or stretched out on the grass, she always wants to be close. Felicity is gentle and affectionate with children and thrives in a family environment. Social and playful, she enjoys romping with other dogs, though her enthusiasm can be a bit much for laid-back pups. She listens well when guided, responding quickly to corrections, which keeps play safe and fun. Felicity already knows sit, is potty trained with only a couple of playful mishaps, and crate trained (although she’s still gaining confidence in her crate). She is a smart, eager learner, but like most young dogs, she’s still polishing her manners—she’ll hop on tables if given the chance and likes to explore when left to her own devices. Structure, supervision, and continued training will help her reach her full potential as a well-mannered family member. Brought in from the Bakersfield shelter, Felicity’s warmth stood out even before she had a name. Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, she’s ready for a home that can offer consistency, kindness, and lots of affection. She gives back tenfold—loyalty, playfulness, and endless cuddles come standard. As a fun fact, Felicity is an Aquarius, a sign known for being friendly and unique.
