Meet Felicity Felicity is a beautiful tan and white Pittie mix, approximately one year old and around 45 pounds. While shelter records estimated her to be older, we truly believe she is closer to a year based on her energy, playfulness, and overall demeanor. Felicity is pure sunshine. She earned her name because from the moment we met her, she had the biggest smile and the happiest spirit. She is incredibly sweet and so open with her affection. Felicity doesn’t just give love, she melts into you. She adores hugs, happily sits in your lap if you let her, and prefers to be right beside her person at all times. She is not a barker and tends to be more of a quiet observer, calmly taking in the world around her. In the car, she’s wonderful, she simply looks out the window and enjoys the ride. Our team met Felicity at the Bakersfield shelter while promoting dogs who were on the euthanasia list. At the time, she didn’t even have a name. We named her Felicity because her joyful expression never left her face. She was one of seven dogs we were advocating for, and we kept watching the shelter website hoping someone would choose her. But the more we thought about her gentle heart and courageous spirit, the more we knew we had to go back for her ourselves. Through us, Felicity will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She is healthy and ready for her next chapter. She would thrive with someone looking for a loyal, loving companion as a dog who will sit close, share quiet moments, and offer unconditional affection. Felicity is ready to give her whole heart to a family who will cherish her and give her the remarkable life she deserves.
