Rita is a beautiful calico girl, estimated to be around 3 years old and weighing approximately 9 pounds. She is gentle, affectionate, calm, and trusting. She is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and on revolution. She is currently still living on the streets, where she comes every day for food and affection. Despite her life outdoors, she has remained gentle, trusting, and deeply connected to people. Rita has a low to moderate energy level and enjoys a calm, peaceful environment. She has a quiet, gentle presence and is not demanding or hyper. She loves being pet, leans into your touch, and will gently weave between your legs asking for affection. She allows herself to be picked up and held, remaining calm and relaxed in your arms. Although she is independent, Rita enjoys companionship and likes being near her person. She would do well as an only cat as long as she has human company and is not left alone for long periods. She gets along well with the other cats in her colony and has never shown aggression. She does not fight, does not compete, and prefers harmony. She has not had direct contact with dogs but can see them through a gate and remains calm and unbothered. Because she comes from the street, Rita would do best with a family that has experience with cats and understands the adjustment period.
