She can transport out of state when matched with an approved adopter. While Harlow is still very much a puppy, she’s starting to grow into herself — and her personality is really beginning to shine. With her bright eyes, boundless enthusiasm, and the most adorable heart-shaped marking on her nose, she’s impossible not to love. Harlow is an active, confident girl who thrives in motion. She loves running, playing, and exploring, and would be happiest in a home that enjoys an active lifestyle. She even runs alongside bikes with her foster mom and keeps up beautifully. Long walks, hikes, jogs, or backyard zoomies are right up her alley. An active household that wants a built-in adventure buddy would be a perfect fit. She absolutely loves her ball and could play fetch for days. Whether she’s sprinting across the yard to retrieve it or proudly bringing it back to you again and again, it’s one of her favorite games. She’s athletic, quick, and clearly loves having an outlet for her energy. Harlow is also a very smart girl who enjoys learning. She already knows “sit” and is eager to please, especially when treats or toys are involved. Because of her athleticism and drive, she could be a wonderful candidate for activities like agility or other dog sports with a family that enjoys training and engaging with their dog. As she matures, we’re seeing more of her affectionate side, too. After she’s burned off some energy, she’s happy to cuddle and relax near her people. Harlow is nearly potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. She sleeps through the night in her crate and does well with routine. Like most puppies her age, she’s still working on some manners, including jumping when excited, occasional leash pulling, and the occasional potty accident while she continues to learn. With consistency and structure, she’s making great progress. Because she’s confident and energetic, Harlow would do best with an experienced owner who can provide clear leadership and structure. She’ll thrive in a home that offers consistency, regular exercise, and ongoing training to help her become the incredible companion she’s meant to be. Harlow hasn’t been around cats and has limited exposure to children. Given her energy level, she would do best in a home with respectful, well-mannered kids who understand how to interact appropriately with a young dog. While we can’t guarantee her adult size, based on her age and breed mix, she’s expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog. Harlow is at that wonderful in-between stage — still playful and silly, but beginning to mature and settle into the amazing companion she’s going to become.
