Hi. I'm Habanero. (DOB 8-21-25) I was born outside with my brothers, Carolina Reaper and Jalapeno, and my sister, Serrano. We take our wrestling matches very seriously. There are daily zoomies. There are dramatic toy attacks. There are sneak ambushes from behind furniture. It’s a whole production. I’m good with other cats (obviously, I come from a full spice rack). I’d really love a kitty friend in my forever home. Life is just better when you have someone to chase down the hallway. I’m quiet, friendly, and just the right amount of goofy. I’ll trot over to investigate whatever you’re doing… especially if it smells like food. I am extremely food motivated. Treats? We are now best friends. Forever. I’m still figuring out this whole “being held” thing. It’s not that I don’t like you — I’m just practicing being brave. If you’re patient and gentle with me, I promise I’ll keep trying. I’m a work in progress, and I think that makes me pretty special. Habanero has been spayed, given age/weight appropriate vaccines, and dewormed. The adoption fee is $200. Adoption fees include spay, age/weight appropriate vaccines and deworming. IMPORTANT: An adoption request form must be filled out and approved before we will make special arrangements to meet a cat/kitten. A volunteer will review your adoption request form and contact you if your request is approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact APPROVED applicants within three business days of request submission (M-F). Paws adopts to homes that are best fits for our animals needs, and not on a first-come, first-serve basis.
