Do cats’ lives seem like soap operas sometimes? Well, you know, some cats are known to “cat around” – not unlike some of those soap characters. I’m Nikki, a 2-year-old mama cat who was found with an older kitten, and three young kittens. A man kept us in his garage in Zumbrota for about two months before he brought us to Paws and Claws. Then we all went to a foster home. Our foster mom named us for characters in a favorite soap opera, “The Young and The Restless." One of the kittens, Jack, who has been adopted, is orange tabby and white like me. Another kitten, Victor, is brown tabby and white like the other adult, Victoria. And one kitten, Traci, is black. Victoria and I shared mommy duties with all three kittens, but now I am ready to move on to a home of my own. I enjoy wrestling with them, then getting them groomed. At times, I would watch them carefully from a high bench. I don’t need to be a hoity-toity socialite like the soap opera character Nikki Newman.
