Hi… I’m Shelby. I’m a 2–3 year old Pit mix, about 50 pounds of gentle heart wrapped in a very cute body, if I do say so myself. I can be a little shy when we first meet. I like to take a moment to make sure you’re one of the good ones. But once I know you are? I lean in. I melt. I become your personal, professional snuggle consultant. My favorite hobbies include soft eye contact, quiet companionship, and collecting head scratches like they’re rare treasures. Everyone says I’m extremely sweet and well mannered. I don’t need to be the loudest dog in the room. I’d rather be the one sitting politely beside you, wagging my tail and waiting for my turn to love you. I seem to be dog friendly, but I believe in proper introductions. First impressions matter, after all. A meet and greet will help make sure we’re the perfect match. As for cats, I’m not quite sure yet. With slow, respectful introductions, I might do just fine. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, and are dewormed.
