Around 8 years old, Bruno carries both charm and resilience in equal measure. His past may have been difficult — he came to us matted and in need of care, and he has healed wounds on his neck from being shot with BBs — but none of that has hardened his spirit. Instead, it’s made him one of the most gentle, affectionate, and grateful cats you’ll ever meet. Bruno truly lives for love and affection. Head scratches are his absolute favorite thing in the world, and he would happily sit beside you all day just soaking up pets. He adores cuddling, purring, and being close to his person. He’s not much for high-energy play — Bruno is a calm, devoted companion who finds his greatest joy in quiet moments together. He loves curling up on his foster mom’s bed, enjoys his scratching posts, and gets very excited for canned wet food. He also loves wearing cozy sweaters, which suits his sweet, gentle personality perfectly. Because of his extremely thick, long coat, grooming is essential for Bruno’s comfort and health. When he arrived, his fur was severely matted and had to be shaved. He cannot maintain his coat on his own, so his adopter must be committed to regular brushing and/or routine professional grooming to keep him feeling his best. Bruno gets along well with other cats and does well with dogs, making him a wonderful addition to many types of homes. His gentle, loving temperament makes him an incredible emotional companion. Bruno has been through more than his share, but he has never stopped loving. He is ready for a fresh start — a safe, peaceful home where he will be cherished, protected, and adored for the rest of his life.
