About Bock
Hi world! My name is Bock, and I’m a reserved gentleman who needs a little more time to get to know you. Although my past may be unknown, my future is waiting for a family that understands my need for time. With time, you will see me open up and become a dog who feels safe in his surroundings. My crate is my safe space, but eventually I will move to a dog bed near the couch. Then, I will show you my popcorn wiggles and my bow plays (I promise you, they are in there, because my foster Mom has seen them). Loud noises startle me, so I’d best in a home with older kids or no kids at all. I enjoy playing with toys and stuffies, even chew bones. I can meet nice dogs on leash while out walking the neighborhood. I do like to play with other dogs that match my energy level. I currently live with an older female boxer and a small 8lb Morkie. Sometimes I need a little time to meet new people, but I certainly try my best to say hello to them! With time and patience I will show you what a strong and brave boy I can be! ***For more information about this dog and information on how to apply to adopt, please visit www.ncbr.org*** Adoption Process At a Glance. - Step 1 – Fill out the Adoption Application - Step 2 – Preliminary Screening by Application Team which includes a Landlord Check (if applicable) and Vet Check - Step 3 – Meeting with appropriate boxer(s) - Step 4 – Home Visit - Step 5 – Adoption Day Adoption Requirements At a Glance. * You must be 21 years of age. * You must have a fenced in yard (exceptions can be made for certain dogs). * All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information). * Applicants with young children will be required to answer additional questions. * Applicants that rent must provide landlord contact info.
