Mikki Mars and her 3 siblings were rescued after almost dying from URIs outside in a snowstorm in Paterson. Mikki Mars is a 3 month old kitten (as of Feb 2026) and  the most shy of the group who needs the most attention. Shes sweet but jumpy and skittish at first unless there’s food around. Then she’ll climb on you and likes being pet. She’s got this cute habit of “growling” a bit when she eats while at the same time purrs non stop.  She lets you hold her but isn’t completely relaxed when doing so. She loves Churros!! Shes not a fan of change, and moving things around can set her comfort zone back a bit but Once she gets comfortable again in her surroundings, she’s a typical kitten.   When I first let them out of the bathroom it was like day one again but after a few days she was back to her self.  Her adopter just would need to be patient and spend time with her to acclimate her to them and her environment. She’s curious, always stays close to you & as long as you go on her terms she gets more comfortable each week.   Mikki Mars is being fostered in Livingston. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FELV and microchipped. She must be adopted in a pair with another one of her siblings or into a home with another friendly cat.
