Ophelio's epic rescue journey began during the worst winter storm this season when his rescuer opened her front door to check on the snow accumulation only to find him slip past her to enjoy the warmth of her home. That precarious meet up has led him to fresh pawsibilities. Now enjoy- ing the comforts of bed and food served with a side of ear rubs, this cheeky gent is relishing the upgrade to his life. Our vets proclaimed him to be a wonderful patient boy as they attended to his health needs, with a great plan in place to monitor his heart condition, covered at cost through our Pet Health Centers. His wandering days may have led to his being FIV+, but they also led him to us, and ultimately you! Ophelio's days out in the cold are behind him.
