Hi, I’m Licorice. I may share a name with a bold candy, but I’m actually a soft little shadow who takes her time getting to know the world. New people and unfamiliar places make me feel small, so I tend to tuck myself away until I’m sure everything is safe and gentle. What I really need is a calm, quiet home with patient humans who understand that trust is something that grows slowly, like a tiny seed stretching toward the sun.
