Hi… I’m Memphis and I’m 5 years old, and I’ve already been through more than most pups should. Someone shot me with a BB gun, and I lost vision in one of my eyes because of it. But please don’t feel sorry for me — I don’t let it slow me down one bit. I still see the world with a happy heart, and I’m just as loving and joyful as ever. What I really want you to know about me is how much I love. I’m incredibly social, sweet, and affectionate. I adore people and soak up every bit of attention I can get. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Cuddling on the couch? That’s my specialty. I’m also wonderful with other dogs and would happily share my home with furry siblings. I enjoy companionship and just being part of a pack — whether that’s with dogs, humans, or both. More than anything, I’m missing having a family of my own. A place where I belong. A soft bed that’s mine. A person who calls me theirs. I promise to give you loyalty, gentleness, and so much love in return. I may only see out of one eye, but I see perfectly with my heart — and it’s wide open, waiting for you! Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs.
